Grants Now Available

We are extremely happy and excited to announce that we are now in a position to award grants to local community groups and charities!!

If you are looking for a grant to help with the cost of purchasing an item or towards a specific project, please write to us including your name, group’s name, address, phone number, email, amount requested and details of your item/project including how this will benefit our community.

You can email your details to us at info@weightonwoldscic.co.uk, pop through our letterbox or post to us at Weighton Wolds CIC, The Acorns, 76 Market Place, Market Weighton, YO43 3AW.

At present we can only give to community/charity groups who are run for the benefit of YO42 and YO43 postcode areas and not individuals.

If you are successful in your application we will require photographs of your project and an invoice for goods/services purchased. The funds will be paid by bank transfer into the bank account for your organisation.

We ask where possible that you use local businesses for services and items.

We would like to say a massive thank you to the community and our amazing volunteers for all your support during our first six months of opening, we could not have done this without you.
